Windows 8.1 and 10

Installing LightScribe on Windows 8 and 8.1 has proven a challenge to put it mildly.

In fact in most people find they can not install the Simple Labeller on 8.1 and the Template Labeller on either 8 or 8.1.

These videos show you an ‘alternative’ way of installing the Simple and Template Labelers that many have found works.

NOTE: There in no way around the problem some find in installing the System Software on Windows 8.1 especially 8.1 Pro.

If you are unable to install the System Software then there is nothing for it except wait until Microsoft release Windows 10 and hope that that fixes some of these issues as Windows 7 did for Vista.
